z/OS DFSMS Software Support for IBM System Storage TS1140, TS1130, and TS1120 Tape Drives (3592)

You can use the REXX variables to obtain volume information. The variables produced by the SEARCHVOLUME subcommand are stem variables.

There will always be 2 decimal places.

EDG@MEDR LV SV Recording technology One of *, 18TRK, 36TRK, 128TRK, 256TRK, 384TRK, EFMT1, EFMT2, EEFMT2, EFMT3, EEFMT3, EFMT4, and EEFMT4
EDG@MEDT LC LV SV Tape media type One of *, CST, EAETC, EATC, EAWTC, ECCST, EETC, EEWTC, EHPCT, ETC, EWTC, EXTC, EXWTC, HPCT
EDG@PSZ6 LD LV Physical space used Character: Two concatenated fields, factor and value; where factor is KB, MB, GB, or blank; and value is 0 to 9999999999. For example, GB720.
