Refer to the 3592 PSP bucket for the APAR and PTF numbers applicable for each release. An enabling PTF exists to provide full device support for the TS1140 tape drive. Installation of the appropriate enabling PTF pulls in all of the needed support PTFs and indicates to the system that all of the needed software support is installed. For z/OS V1R11 and above, refer to enabling APAR OA33947. Also for the added TS1140 legacy read support for MEDIA5, MEDIA6, MEDIA7, and MEDIA8 refer to OA37269. This is needed in addition to the base TS1140 support and requires that the TS1140 tape drives be at PGA1 code level D3I3_5CD (or higher).
