DFSMShsm examines the OEVSWORM field passed by OPEN/EOV processing. The bit is turned on by OPEN/EOV when a WORM tape cartridge has been mounted. If a WORM tape cartridge is mounted for any function other than ABACKUP or ARECOVER, DFSMShsm returns to OPEN/EOV with RC08, resulting in ABEND913 RC34 and a failure of OPEN. DFSMShsm fails the function and issues either message ARC0309I (for non-ABARs) or ARC6410E (for an ARECOVER ML2 tape).
