Access method services (AMS) modifications for 3592 Model J

This topic describes changes to the access method services (AMS) commands to support the 3592 Model J tape drives. These commands are changed.

Attention: Use these AMS commands only to recover from tape volume catalog errors. Because AMS cannot change the library manager inventory in an automated tape library, use ISMF for normal tape library alter functions.
