Using a PCI cryptographic coprocessor to generate private keys z/OS Security Server RACF Security Administrator's Guide SA23-2289-00 |
|
ICSF can use a PCI class cryptographic coprocessor to generate RSA and ECC public/private key pairs. The PCI class of cryptographic coprocessors includes the PCI, PCI X, and the Crypto Express® coprocessors. The PKDS and PCICC options of the RACDCERT command detect when PCI hardware is available, and use it to generate a public/private key pair. A PCI class cryptographic coprocessor is used only when ICSF is active and configured to use it. |
