z/OS Security Server RACF Messages and Codes

IRRD147I
EXPORT in PKCS12 format requires a certificate with an associated non-ICSF private key. The request is not processed.

Explanation

A PKCS #12 certificate package contains a certificate and private key. The certificate you are trying to export either has no associated private key or has a private key stored in ICSF. (ICSF private keys are not exportable.)

System action

The command stops.

Programmer response

Do one of the following tasks:
  • Choose a certificate that has a non-ICSF private key.
  • Export in a CERT format that does not require a private key.
