RBA of first block of index sequence set is invalid

Explanation

The RBA of the first block of the index sequence set (in the ICB) is not valid for one of the following reasons:
  • The first 2 bytes are not zero.
  • The last 4 bytes are zero.
  • The RBA is not a multiple of 4096.

System action

Processing stops.

Programmer response

A dump is provided for the block in error. Use the BLKUPD command to correct the problem.
