The universal access authority assigned to each resource defines
the access that all users have to a resource unless the users are
in the access list. The meaning of the universal access authorities
varies depending on the type of resource that is being defined. For
example, the following UACC values are valid for resources defined
through the RACF® DATASET class:
For example, if you assign a UACC value of READ to a data set named WORKLOAD, then all users would be able to read the data set. However, users could not update WORKLOAD unless they were explicitly allowed to do so through an access list. |
