This topic describes
the standard process for using the RECEIVE, APPLY, and ACCEPT commands
to install a function.
Note: You can use either the SMP/E
dialogs or JCL jobs to receive, apply, and accept functions. The basic
steps to follow are the same. If you have access to the SMP/E dialogs,
you should use them. Otherwise, you can use the steps described in
this topic as
examples.
