General updates of IP interfaces

Interface Release Description Reason for change
ENF signal 80 V2R1 Changed ENF interface to allow z/OS to signal events. The ENF signal 80 has one qualifier:
  • A rpcbind server event occurred
The rpcbind server issue the event when the server starts or stops. The EZAENF80 macro maps the ENF signal.
Guideline: RPC applications that want awareness of the rpcbind server availability can write ENF listening user exit routines to react to Communications Server ENF signal with the rpcbind event qualifier.
