Explanation
There are two possible errors:
- The STREAM input record could not be scanned due to an unmatched
or nested shift code.
- A graphic (DBCS) constant in STREAM input contained a shift code
or used shift codes improperly.
System action
The ERROR condition is raised.
Programmer response
Verify that shift code pairs are matched
and unnested, continuation rules are followed, and graphic (DBCS)
constants are in one of the allowable forms.
