after the TRANSMIT condition was detected.
Explanation
A character is invalid for conversion to an arithmetic
form was detected in one of the following:
- An arithmetic constant in a list-directed or data-directed input
item.
- A character constant being converted to an arithmetic form in
a list-directed or data directed input item.
- An A-format input field being converted to an arithmetic form.
A transmission error also occurred and may be the cause
of the conversion error. The ONCODE associated with this message is
614.
System action
The ERROR condition is raised.
Programmer response
Correct the transmission error. If the
conversion error recurs after correcting the transmission error, refer
to the steps for message IBM0024.
