TRC PSF for z/OS: User's Guide S550-0435-04 |
|
TRCSpecifies whether the print data set contains table reference characters (TRCs). In traditional line data, you can use different fonts on different lines of a file by specifying TRCs at the beginning of each line after the carriage control characters, if any are present. This parameter cannot be used with record format line data. To specify a TRC, either use DCB=OPTCD=J on the DD statement, or use the TRC parameter on an OUTPUT statement assigned to that DD statement. You must specify a TRC in one statement or the other. If you specify a parameter in both a DD statement and an OUTPUT statement, PSF uses the parameter in the DD statement.
See Using table reference characters to select fonts for examples of using the TRC parameter and guidelines for using TRCs. |
