To monitor the copy process of PPRC volumes, issue the CQUERY command. When PPRC extended distance is enabled, you should monitor volumes that have the most out-of-sync tracks waiting to be transmitted because of the delays introduced before updates are received by the recovery site. The amount of data lost during a disaster increases with the number of out-of-sync tracks. You can also set up automated procedures to monitor this activity. To view the output from the CQUERY command, see Querying PPRC volumes.
