What's new in license monitoring
Enhancements for monitoring usage of software licenses include support to additional products, the ability to review current license allocation, and a system property to control which users are shown in the log files.
The following enhancements are made to the process for monitoring software licenses:
- You can use the License Usage Monitor application to monitor license usage for additional products.
- Express licenses can be used for products other than Maximo® Asset Management, such as industry solutions.
- In the License Usage Monitor application, you can select the Current License Allocation action to review the current license allocation for each user.
- You can use the Mxe.license.LogUser system property to control which users are shown in the log when the lictrack logger is set to DEBUG. Specify a comma-delimited user ID in the Mxe.license.LogUser property for each user who you want to include in the log.
