You run the configuration script to configure the agent on Linux systems.
Procedure
- Run the following command where instance_name is the name that you want to
give to the instance:
install_dir/bin/db2-agent.sh config instance_name
- When you are prompted to provide a value for the following parameters, press Enter to accept
the default value, or specify a value and then press Enter:
- DB2® SQL path
- Dialog path
- Dialog message ID filter
- Monitor remote partitions
- Monitor all databases
- Run the following command to start the agent:
install_dir/bin/db2-agent.sh start instance_name
