Accessing IBM Sterling Order Management System web applications after enabling your OIDC account

You can access the Sterling™ Order Management System web applications after your OIDC account is enabled for the Sterling Order Management System environment.

When the domain of your company is federated, the IBMid login page redirects you to your company's login page as soon as you enter your company email ID.
Tip: If you are not redirected to your company's login page after you enter your company email ID on the IBMid login page, you must first create a new IBMid. The email ID used to create the new IBMid must be the same as your company email ID.

After logging in for the first time, you are authenticated and are then asked to authenticate again directly into Sterling Order Management System. This second authentication is used to associate the OIDC user ID with the Sterling Order Management System user ID. All future authentications are then log the Sterling Order Management System user ID (and its associated authorizations) into the Sterling Order Management System application.

Accessing web-based applications after enabling OIDC account

To access the Sterling Order Management System web applications, the following prerequisites must be completed:

  • Sterling Business Center: https://hostname:port/sbc/sbc/login.do
  • Sterling Field Sales: https://hostname:port/sfs/sfs/login.do
  • Call Center: https://hostname:port/isccs/isccs/login.do
  • Store Engagement (Legacy): https://hostname:port/wsc/store/login.do
The web applications can also be accessed by providing only the context root in the URLs as follows:

Accessing web-based tools after enabling OIDC account

The following URLs are used by default after OIDC account is enabled on the Sterling Order Management System environment:
Note: You do not need to provide a user name or password while running these tools except for the REST API Tester tool. The REST API Tester tool uses a different authentication framework, so you must provide the Sterling Order Management System user name and password for login even after your OIDC account is enabled.
