High-Speed Transfer Server deployment

The IBM Cloud Pak for Integration provides the ability to deploy an instance of the IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Server (HSTS). HSTS allows an unlimited number of concurrent users to transfer files of any size at high speed using an Aspera client.

The HSTS operator provides a simple Kubernetes CRD-Based API to provision HSTS services on your Kubernetes cluster. The operator is available in the IBM operator catalog. It is used to install and upgrade HSTS. The HSTS operator is dependent on Redis, and is designed to install and configure the Redis operator as part of the HSTS installation.

Deployment

Before you begin deployment, you must meet the prerequisites described in Before you begin.

You can then use either the IBM Cloud Pak Platform UI or OpenShift web console to deploy HSTS. See Deploying HSTS using the IBM Cloud Pak Platform UI or Deploying HSTS using the OpenShift web console.
