Ensure all devices connected to the fibre channel (FC) adapters are operational. Remove non-functional devices from the SAN and reconfigure the devices on the system. If there is no device on an FC port, increase the SANDISCOVERYTIMEOUT value and try again. If the SANDISCOVERYTIMEOUT option is not set, set it with a value higher than the default value.
