The nasnodename option specifies the node name for the NAS file server when processing NAS file systems. Tivoli® Storage Manager prompts you for an administrator ID.
The node name identifies the NAS file server to the Tivoli Storage Manager server. The server must register the NAS file server.
You can specify this option on the command
line or in the client system-options file (dsm.sys).

the dsm.sys file by entering a different value on the command line.
If you do not specify the nasnodename option in the
dsm.sys file, you must specify this option on the command line when
processing NAS file systems.

You can use the delete filespace command to interactively delete NAS file spaces from server storage.
Use the nasnodename option
to identify the NAS file server. Place the nasnodename option
in your client system-options file (dsm.sys). The value in the client
system-options file is the default, but this value can be overridden
on the command line. If the nasnodename option is
not specified in the client system-options file, you must specify
this option on the command line when processing NAS file systems.

Use the class option to specify the class of the file space to delete. To display a list of file spaces belonging to a NAS node so that you can choose one to delete, use the -class=nas option.

Supported Clients
This
option is only valid for the AIX®, Linux, and Solaris clients. The Tivoli Storage Manager client
API does not support this option.

Options File
Place this option in the dsm.sys file within a server stanza. You
can set this option on the General tab of the
Preferences editor.
