Changes to documentation

This section summarizes the changes to the organization or deliverables of CICS® documentation, across supported CICS releases. Use this information to understand significant documentation changes between one release and another.

Table 1 describes changes to documentation by area.
Table 2 provides information about the availability of PDFs by release.

Upgrading Upgrading information is provided in full in the latest CICS TS product documentation.		NEW: Changes to security section to summarize changes to CICS security, including changes to RACF® classes. NEW: Stabilization notices and discontinued functions section to summarize technologies that are stabilized in CICS.
Troubleshooting				CHANGED: Enhancements to trace information, including a new trace term topic and new section How it works: Tracing in CICS. z/OS® trace is now covered in Using z/OS trace for problem determination.
z/OS Connect embedded in CICS		REMOVED: References removed from the documentation.
