CICS management client interface
The CICS management client interface (CMCI) is a system management application programming interface, designed using Representational State Transfer (RESTful) principles, for use by HTTP client applications including IBM® CICS Explorer. You can use this interface to develop HTTP client applications that manage installed and definitional CICS and CICSPlex SM resources on CICS regions being managed by CICSPlex SM or CICS resources on stand-alone CICS regions.

The WUI client application data interface provides access from a client application to a WUI server, and enables a client application to use a number of services.

CICS operations views
The supplied operations views present information in a layered approach, employing multiple views to present all the information for a given resource. The names assigned to the views reflect this layered approach.
CICS monitoring views
This section describes the monitoring views supplied with the CICSPlex SM Web User Interface (WUI).
Active workload views
The active workload views display information about active workloads and the transactions and transaction groups comprising those workloads. Note: Workload management is performed on a CICSplex-wide basis. These views ignore any scope that may be in effect.
Real Time Analysis (RTA) views
The Real Time Analysis (RTA) views allow you to analyze the activity in a CICSplex.
History Views
The history views allow you to work with CICS historical data.
CICSPlex SM resource tables
This section provides detailed reference information about the CICSPlex SM resource tables. Each resource table is described, including a summary of how it is used, the operations that are valid, and all the attributes. Primary and Secondary (where applicable) key fields are highlighted in the tables.
The debugging tools sockets interface
The debugging tools sockets interface is an interface that debugging tools can use to communicate with a debugger client. It uses the support for TCP/IP provided by the CICS sockets domain.
The debugging tools pattern matching interface
Use the debugging tools pattern matching interface to determine if a program instance that you specify matches an active debugging profile. The interface returns information about the profile that is the best match for the program instance you specify.
Vendor interfaces
CICS provides interfaces that can be used by vendors to use and extend the capabilities that are provided in CICS.
