Gathering WAS information

Gather information about the server running the Job Scheduler from your WAS administrator.

About this task

To configure the feature pack, you need to find information used by the WebSphere Application Server that is hosting the Job scheduler. Your WAS administrator can provide this information:

Cell name
Node name
Server name
Hostname
Port for inbound HTTP requests
If the WAS server requires SSL for inbound HTTP requests and if so, whether client authentication is required.

Note: If the configuration is not correct, running batch jobs may produce unexpected results. For more information, see Troubleshooting and support.
