Changing the default JVM server name

The CSD JCL creates a JVM server named DFHBATJS. This is the expected name of the JVM server but you can change it.

Procedure

  1. Change the name of the JVM server in the CSD definitions
  2. Change the name of the JVM server in the pipeline configuration XML file
  3. Initialise the batch container with the CBCH transaction: CBCH <JVM server name>.

Results

The batch container runs in the named JVM server environment. When you use the CBCH or CBCS transactions, you must specify the name of this JVM server.
