Interacting with resource definitions
Create, update, delete, and perform actions on BAS and CSD resource definitions using the CICS Management Client Interface (CMCI).
About this task
You can interact with resource definitions from CICSPlex® SM in
the following ways:
- Using the CMCI, which accepts HTTP requests from your application
- Using the CICS® Explorer, which takes advantage of CMCI
- Using the CICSPlex SM Web User Interface (WUI)
- Adding CICSPlex SM API commands directly to your application
