Status updates during lost locks recovery

CICS® now provides regular status updates while lost locks recovery is taking place. A new message displays the number of data sets that have completed lost locks recovery, and the total number of data sets that require lost locks recovery. These regular updates ensure that users are aware of the progress that is being made during the time of the recovery.

The lost locks condition is created when a coupling facility lock structure fails and cannot be rebuilt by VSAM. The lost locks condition can occur only for data sets opened in RLS mode.
