Creating a custom object

Custom objects are general-purpose objects that can be used to track physical items, such as magnetic tapes and disks.

Procedure

To create a custom object:

  1. Start the New Custom Object wizard in the administration console:
    1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, right-click Data Design > Classes > Custom Object and select New Custom Object.
  2. Complete the wizard.
