Starting the Monitor test environment server

After you generate the projects from the monitor model, you must start a Monitor test environment server so that you can publish and test the monitor model.

Before you begin

Before you start the server for the first time, make sure that your environment is set up correctly. See "Preparing the test environment." You might also need to see "Disabling Monitor test server security in Integration Designer."

Procedure

To start the test server, complete the following steps:

  1. In Integration Designer, click the Servers view.
  2. Right-click the test server, and click Start. Based on your environment and the options you selected when installing, the test server has the name IBM® Business Monitor Server followed by a version number and on IBM Process Server or on WebSphere Application Server.
