These sections describe problems you might encounter while you are using the IBM® Business Monitor dashboards.

- Web browser support for IBM Business Monitor
IBM Business Monitor supports the Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari for Mac, Apple Safari for iPad, and Google Chrome web browsers. - Cannot view data in dashboards after deploying a monitor model and emitting events
If you cannot view data in your dashboards after deploying a monitor model and emitting events, an error in event processing might be the cause. To resolve this problem, correct the configurations that relate to event processing. - Cognos cube creation fails in Better Lender showcase model
If you install the Better Lender showcase model from the First Steps console, you might see an error during Cognos cube deployment. - Report Viewer widget fails with 404 error
Opening a Report Viewer widget in dashboard spaces causes the following error: Error 404: ProxyServlet: mum/undefined, and the SystemOut log lists the cause: Validation of LTPA token failed due to invalid keys or token type. - Longer response times for Cognos widgets in the Monitor dashboard space after the server is restarted
You may observe longer response times for the Report Designer and Report Viewer widgets in the Monitor dashboard space after the server is restarted. - Process instance termination time in Report Viewer is 01/01/9999
A running process instance can have a termination date in the future. - Situation and maps are triggered more often than expected
When calculating and monitoring the values of business measures (metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)) that are derived from other metrics and KPIs, you might find that counters are updated more times than you expect. Similarly, situation and maps can be sent and triggered more times than you expect. - Events are not being processed
If events are being emitted and associated instances are not showing up in the dashboards, you might be able to solve the issue using one of the procedures described in this section. - No response when wired connection is enabled
This troubleshooting tip is applicable to nonresponsive wires when using Mozilla Firefox. If you are using a Mozilla Firefox browser and a target widget is not responding to any actions of the source widget, you should disable any existing Mozilla Firefox add-ons. - Enabling tracing for portlet-based dashboard widgets
To enable the tracing function for troubleshooting portlet-based dashboard widgets (portlets), you must configure the trace on the application server on the same physical server where WebSphere® Application Server is installed. - Enabling tracing for widgets in dashboard spaces
For debugging purposes, you can enable tracing for your widgets from the administrative console. Tracing functionality must be configured on the application server instance where Business Space is installed. - Assorted troubleshooting tips
