Enabling security for WebSphere Portal
WebSphere® Portal uses the security mechanism provided by WebSphere Application Server.
Before you begin
- Configured one of the following user registry settings:
- Custom
- LDAP
- Federated Repositories
- Configured lightweight third party authentication (LTPA)
- Logged in to the administrative console
About this task
To enable the WebSphere Portal Monitor widgets to retrieve data from IBM® Business Monitor, you must manually share secure sockets layer (SSL) certificates and LTPA keys between WebSphere Portal and IBM Business Monitor. You must also enable single sign-on on IBM Business Monitor.
