Use the administrative console of the server to start an
application that uses the adapter. By default, the application starts
automatically when the server starts.
About this task
Use this procedure to start
the application, whether it is using an embedded or a stand-alone
adapter. For an application that uses an embedded adapter, the adapter
starts when the application starts. For an application that uses a
stand-alone adapter, the adapter starts when the application server
starts.
Procedure
- If the server is not running, right-click your server in
the Servers view and select Start.
- When the server status changes to Started,
right-click the server and select .
- Log on to the administrative console.
- Click .
Note: The administrative
console is labeled "Integrated Solutions Console".
- Select the application that you want to start. The application
name is the name of the EAR file you installed, without the .EAR file
extension.
- Click Start.
Results
The status of the application changes to Started, and a message
stating that the application has started displays at the top of the
administrative console.
