To configure
a typical network deployment environment, you can use the configureNode command
instead of using the Profile Management Tool and Deployment Environment
wizard or the manageprofiles and wsadmin commands.
This command provides limited customization by using a properties
file, and creates a ready-to-use environment. You can also use configureNode later
to extend the deployment environment.
Before you begin
Restriction: This command is not supported
if your database type is DB2® for z/OS®.
Important: The configureNode command
cannot be run twice on one machine without first deleting the profile
that was created. To run the configureNode command
a second time, first delete the profile.
