You can use the AFP viewer as an alternative to the AFP2PDF viewer to view your AFP
documents.
About this task
The AFP viewer supports the IBM Content Manager OnDemand repository and the
following file types:
- AFP (application/afp)
- application/vnd.ibm.modcap
- application/x-vnd.ibm.scs
You must register and configure the AFP Viewer plug-in by using the IBM Content Navigator administration tool.
To use the AFP Viewer with an IBM Content Manager OnDemand repository, each client
workstation also needs the AFP Viewer browser plug-in to be installed from the IBM Content Manager OnDemand installation directory. The executable file to start the AFP Viewer
browser plug-in installation program is afpplgin.exe and is in the following
directory where IBM Content Manager OnDemand Web
Enablement Kit is installed:
$ODWEK_program_files/plugins/.
If you configure the AF2PDF viewer and the AFP viewer, but the AFP Viewer browser plug-in is not
installed on the client workstation, IBM Content Navigator opens documents
from the IBM Content Manager OnDemand repository with the AFP2PDF viewer.
