Importing your Content Engine LTPA keys (IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager)

If you plan to deploy an IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager web application, you must import your Content Engine LTPA keys to the IBM Content Navigator web application server to enable the IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager web application to authenticate to the Content Engine server.

Before you begin

You must export the LTPA key file from the Content Engine server and save it to the IBM Content Navigator server before you run this task.

This task assumes that you have a configuration profile open in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool.

About this task

This task applies only to FileNet P8 users.

Tip: If you plan to deploy an IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager web application in the same cell as Content Engine on WebSphere® Application Server, you do not need to complete this task.

Procedure

To import your Content Engine LTPA keys:

  1. Open the following task in your configuration profile: Import Your Content Engine LTPA Keys.
  2. Complete the task by using the values that you entered in the Worksheet for importing your Content Engine LTPA keys.
  3. Click Next to run the task.

If you are manually running the tasks in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, you can take one of the following actions:
