You can increase the amount of time that configuration objects, such as desktops, are kept in the cache to improve the performance of the web client.
The initial login time to IBM® Content Navigator increases as menu items and plug-ins are added to the configuration. By changing the cache refresh interval, you can reduce the amount of time it takes users to log in to IBM Content Navigator.
If IBM Content Navigator is deployed in a highly available clustered environment, changes to the configuration objects are not propagated to the nodes in the cluster until the cache is refreshed.
