Secure communications by using the TLS 1.2 protocol
IBM Spectrum Protect™ Version 8.1 secures communications for servers, clients, and storage agents by enabling the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 protocol. TLS 1.2 provides a higher level of security than previous TLS levels.
In V8.1, when the server creates a new key database, the key database file is automatically configured to use TLS 1.2.
