2	There's a lot of benefits associated with the cloud: more space, faster deployment times, and lower costs. And with IBM WebSphere on cloud, getting these benefits is fast and easy. By pre-configurating the OS, the middleware, and the runtime, IBM WebSphere on cloud actually does the heavy lifting for you, so you can move your apps to the cloud, unchanged, in minutes, not days or even months. And, you can reduce costs with flexible pay-as-you-go pricing. This all sounds great, but what savings could you get with your own on-premises environment? There's an easy way to find out. 3	Opening the tool you'll see it has several tabs that calculate the costs associated with moving your applications to the cloud with IBM WebSphere on cloud. These calculations are based on industry standards and best practices.	Show the user the different tabs in the TCO calculator.
4	When you click over to the Hardware tab, you'll see the calculator comes pre-populated with small, medium and large configurations. So you can easily adjust areas to more closely mirror your own environment, things like server and memory utilization, and the amount of software scripting that is in place. You can also enter data based on your specific environment. The tool starts with the existing on premise pre-production and production hardware environments and includes facilities and environmental costs. 7	And finally, the results. In this example, we used a medium sized configuration and a Lift and Shift to Cloud with no Changes, which has minimum migration cost due to WebSphere on Cloud's pre-configuration of the OS, the middleware and the runtime for WebSphere.
