A typical workflow for administering your OLAP and cubing activities
can include the following tasks:

more information, refer to http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v9r5/topic/com.ibm.help.etl.doc/administering/tadmcreatedsn.html.
- Import OLAP metadata. To use cube models that are defined in DB2® or from a partner tool, you
can import OLAP metadata into DB2 databases.
For more information, refer to Importing OLAP metadata.
- Optimize your cube model to improve the performance of your OLAP-style
SQL query. For more information, refer to Optimizing a cube model.
- Configure a cube server. For more information, refer to Creating a cube server.
- Add a cube or cubes to a cube server. For more information, refer
to Adding cubes to a cube server in a single step.
- Start the cube server. For more information, refer to Starting, stopping, or restarting cube servers.
