Saving, Executing, and Editing the TurboIntegrator Process with the TM1 Package Connector as a datasource

About this task

When you create a TurboIntegrator process using the Cognos® TM1® Package Connector as a datasource, TurboIntegrator stores the encrypted password for the IBM® Cognos Analytics authentication namespace.

When you edit a TurboIntegrator process that uses the TM1 Package Connector as a datasource, you must re-enter the credentials required to access the Cognos Analytics.

Use these steps to create a TurboIntegrator process.

1. Click the Execute button.

   TM1 prompts you to name and save the process.

2. Save the process.

   You should then see confirmation that the process executed successfully.

3. Open the Server Explorer. You should see that the cube you specified has been created and populated, and that all required dimensions have been created.
   • If you are editing a TurboIntegrator process, you must first re-enter Cognos Analytics credentials required to access the Cognos Analytics Server.
   • If you are creating a process, open the tm1s.cfg and add the following configuration parameter: EnableTIDatasourcePasswordAccess=T.
