Upgrading existing applications to the newest application framework

If you created applications with an older release of the Telecommunications Event Data Analytics application framework, you might want to upgrade these applications to the newest version to get fixes and newest features.

The upgrade of applications that are created with the toolkit 1.0.x version is optional but recommended. The old application doesn’t compile with the toolkit 2.0.0 version.
You have two options to upgrade your existing Lookup Manager and ITE applications:
- Using Streams Studio (recommended)
- Using the Linux shell
You must process the migration of the customized code for both options. You need the new Monitoring GUI application for the new toolkit version.
