Configuring high availability for IBM Streams enterprise domains and instances

Both domains and instances have a high availability count property. This property indicates how many copies of management services are maintained by a domain or instance. The extra copies (standby services) allow for automatic failover if resources unexpectedly fail or become unavailable.

    If you configure high availability for the management services in a domain, IBM Streams can switch to using standby services in the event of a software, hardware, or network interruption.
