IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management installation

This section provides all the details to install and validate your installation of IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management.

Before you install the IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management, review the required hardware and system configuration for each product.

You can install the IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management on IBM Cloud, Linux® x86_64, and Linux® on Power® (ppc64le) with Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform version 3.11.

High-level installation flow:

1. You must have OpenShift Container Platform version 3.11 installed on prem.
2. Complete either an offline PPA installation or use IBM Cloud:
   • Install and deploy IBM Multicloud Manager. IBM Multicloud Manager is enabled during this installation by default.
   • Install IBM Multicloud Manager on IBM Cloud.
3. Optionally, install IBM Cloud App Management that includes Event Management.
4. Optionally, install IBM Cloud Automation Manager.
