Creating the GH-Tester test type

You must create the GH-Tester test type in HP Quality Center so that you can run IBM® Rational® Integration Tester tests and test suites in HP Quality Center. After you create the GH-Tester test type, you can also apply filters to the Test Lab module to view a reduced number of items.

Procedure

  1. In the main Quality Center window, click the Tools menu and select Customize.
  2. In the list on the left, click Project Lists.
  3. In Project Lists, select TestType from Lists, or in HP Quality Center version 11, select TestType.
  4. If GH-TESTER is not listed, click New Item.
    Note: If GH-TESTER is already listed, nothing further is required and you can close the Project Customization window.
  5. In the New Item window, type GH-TESTER, and then click OK.
  6. Click Save.
  7. After you confirm the changes, click Return in the upper-right corner of the window to return to your last location in the project.
