IBM Endpoint Manager, Version 9.0

Installing the command line tools

The command line tools contain two utilities that can be run from the command line to start a remote control session with a target or run commands on a target system without target user interaction. These commands can be useful if you want to connect to a target without using the usual IBM® Endpoint Manager for Remote Control Server interface or for using as part of a script to run multiple commands in an automated fashion. The command line tools are only available to run in Windows and Linux.

IBM Endpoint Manager for Remote Control provides two ways to install the command line tools. If you have access to the IBM Endpoint Manager console use the deployment fixlets to deploy the tools. For more details, see the IBM Endpoint Manager for Remote Control Console User's Guide. Alternatively use the IBM Endpoint Manager for Remote Control controller installation files.
