What's new in V1.1.8 (November 2020)

  • Integration with IBM Z Service Management Explorer (IZSME)
    IBM Service Management Unite is integrated with IZSME to offer another option to view detailed z/OS data. You can seamlessly navigate from the Service Management Unite dashboards to the IZSME plug-in on Zowe Desktop for deep analysis on performance problems, and thus accelerate problem analysis and resolution.   • Integration with and enabling IBM Z ChatOps

    IBM Z ChatOps leverages and integrates with IBM Service Management Unite for a broad access to IBM Z operations data. Chat users can drill down from chatbot output to the Service Management Unite dashboards with more information to help resolve problems fast. In addition, you can copy links to the resources that are displayed in the Service Management Unite dashboards and paste the links in supported chat tools where Z ChatOps is enabled to get an overview of the resources directly in chat tools.   • Enhancements to the automation dashboards
    • GDPS and hardware information is added. You can distinguish between GDPS and non-GDPS systems and view hardware and GDPS information in automation dashboards.

    • The tooltip of a multi-line message in the Canzlog dashboard is enhanced with better format. Hover the mouse over a multi-line message, the tooltip displays the text of the message with its original format including line wraps, which makes it easier to read.

    • The graphical topology views no longer require Adobe Flash Player. You can create custom dashboards to visualize resources relationship by using non-Flash topology widget.
