Publishing WML for z/OS models to a Watson ML service

You can publish a model in IBM Watson® Machine Learning for z/OS to a Watson Machine Learning service.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the WML for z/OS web user interface with your user name and password.
  2. On the Model Management page, click the Models tab and select the model that you want to publish.

You can publish all but Scikit-learn and PMML models to a Watson ML service.

  3. From the ACTIONS menu for the model, select Publish to WML.
  4. Specify a name for the model.

By default, the WML Model Name field is populated with the current name and the latest version of the model, but you can change it. The new name will be used when the model is published to a Watson ML service.

  5. Specify the username and password of the Watson ML service to which you want to publish the model.

You can find the username and password in the Service Credentials section on the Watson ML Data and Analytics page. The username and password that you use determine the Watson ML service that will receive the model.

  6. Select a version of the model that you want to publish.

By default, the latest version of the model is pre-selected, but you can choose any version to publish.

  7. Click Publish to publish the model.
  8. Verify that the published model shows up in the selected Watson ML service.
