Data schemas

Data for alerts, assets, measurement readings, service orders, and work orders are imported into IBM® Water Operations for Waternamics from XML files.

  • The schema files are available in the /home/mqmconn/xsds directory on the analytics server.
    • The alerts schema file is VDS_IOW-IN-ALERTS-Core.xsd.
    • The assets schema file is VDS_IOW-IN-ASSETS-CORE.xsd.
    • The measurement readings schema file is VDS_IOW-IN-READINGS-Core.xsd.
    • The service orders schema file is VDS_IOW-IN-SO-Core.xsd.
    • The work orders schema file is VDS_IOW-IN-WO-Core.xsd.
  • Each schema file can also be accessed with the following URI, where web_server_hostname is the fully qualified name of the web server, and filename.xsd is the name of a schema file in the directory: 
    web_server_hostname/ibm/water/vds/artifacts/iib/xsd/filename.xsd/home/mqmconn/xsds
    For example, https://web-svr.cn.example.com/ibm/water/vds/artifacts/iib/xsd/VDS_IOW-IN-WO-Core.xsd.
