User Profiles Options

This section provides the following configuration options:

• Crawl profile information from personal sites (optional) - When enabled, profile information (My Profile) of personal sites will be crawled.
• Public access control group name (optional) - When specified, this group name is used in the ACLs when access should be given to everyone.
• Crawl all OneDrive for Business Sites within an organization (optional) - When enabled, every site within an organization will be crawled.
  Important: When Crawl all OneDrive for Business Sites within an organization is enabled, these options are required:

  • Crawl profile information from personal sites
  • Base URL for OneDrive for Business Sites
  • Base URL for linking to user profiles
• Base URL for OneDrive for Business Sites (optional) - The base URL the connector uses to retrieve all OneDrive for Business Site Collections from User Profiles. For example:

  https://<org-name>-my.sharepoint.com

• Base URL for linking to user profiles (optional) - The base URL the connector uses to retrieve all user profiles. This should be configured to point to the SPO admin service URL. For example:

  https://<org-name>-admin.sharepoint.com

  If the token %FIRST_SEED% is encountered, it is replaced with the first seed URL.
• Use Alternate URL Structure - When enabled, an alternate URL structure will be used internally. This is intended for environments where a SharePoint duplication bug is present due to the Fast Site Collection Creation feature.
