Updating The Authentication Macro

About this task

To update the authentication macro, open the Watson Explorer Engine administration tool, and do the following:

Procedure

  1. Select Configuration, and then click the XML link.
  2. Select the "authentication-claims-based" macro from the list of available XML functions.
  3. Select the XML tab. Open, and then copy the contents of, the "authentication-claims-based" macro. This copied content will be used to update the "authentication" macro later.
  4. Return to the Configuration menu and cick the XML link. Locate the "authentication" macro.
  5. Select the "authentication" macro. Click the XML tab, and then click Edit.
  6. Update the content of the "authentication" macro by replacing it with the copied content from the "authentication-claims-based" macro XML function.
    Note:

    If Watson Explorer Engine uses a different virtual directory other than the default one, then make the changes for the installed directory as required in the macro's comments.

  7. Click OK.
