License Metric Tool reports utilization for a vast number of IBM license metrics for products that deliver .slmtag files.
Information about utilization of license metrics for products that deliver
.slmtag files is presented on the All Metrics report when the following
criteria are met:
- The product is discovered and reported on the Software Classification report.
- The license metric that is assigned to the product on the Software Classification panel matches the license metric that is listed in the .slmtag file.

The reported metric quantity is the sum of the maximum daily values from all software instances over the reporting period.
If license metric utilization is not reported on the All Metrics report, you can review the
Resource Utilization report to see raw data retrieved from .slmtag files. You
can use this information to determine why the utilization is not shown. For more information, see
